A recruitment officer from Zain Bahrain, a telecoms innovator focused on enhancing customer experience, gave Applied Science University (ASU) students helpful tips on how to compete in the local labor market. The workshop, entitled ‘Excel in the Labor Market’, was delivered by Zain Bahrain Human Resources Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits Manager, Salah Al Kooheji, who gave the students a unique insight into how they should approach the HR departments of leading employers in the Kingdom. He taught them how to increase their chances of getting hired by developing attractive CVs and handling interviews professionally, and also prepared them for the university’s Job Fair in which Zain Bahrain was a participant along with 24 other companies.

“Today’s labor market is more competitive than ever, so job seekers must be able to sell their abilities to recruiters as efficiently and professionally as possible to find rewarding jobs that match their education levels and qualifications. Zain Bahrain supports bright students entering the labor market as part of its corporate sustainability policies, helping to strengthen the pool of talent from which it draws its employees,” Mr. Al Kooheji told the students.
