EWA wins Distinction Award for third consecutive time

The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has won for the third time running the Distinction Award in Communicating with Subscribers (Tawasul) for 2020.

The award was granted in an online celebration held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

Minister of Electricity and Water Affair Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak affirmed the authority’s resolve to continue optimizing its services for citizens and residents and using the best technologies to reduce time of the service. 

He said that the National Suggestion and Complaint System (Tawasul) is one of the outstanding models of joint work between the national institutions to provide a better communication environment with subscribers.

EWA Chief Executive Shaikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa affirmed that distinction in communicating with subscribers and receiving the award for the third consecutive time reflects the authority’s fundamentals which consider the subscriber as an indispensable partner in the electricity and water services development process.
