Florence La Maison Méditerranéenne, the culinary gem nestled in the heart of Adliya, hosted members of the media to an exclusive preview event of their Ramadan menu. More than 20 media representatives were treated to a delectable selection of signature dishes created by the restaurant’s Chef to usher in the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

Inspired by its modern Mediterranean-themed cuisine and fused with the local traditional tastes, Florence’s Ramadhan menu is a melting pot of homely tastes that integrate flavours from Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Lebanon and Morocco infused with the Bahraini touch.

During the event, Ms. Svenja Schütze, one of the owners of Florence La Maison Méditerranéenne, said: “We are so happy to be introducing our new Ramadhan menu to the media. Ramadhan is a very special time of the year and we wanted to make sure this was encapsulated in our menu. Our approach is homely comfort food, and we want our guests to feel they are dining at home when visiting Florence during the Holy Month”.

From signature dips to some well-known starters such as homemade kebeh, samboosa platter, potato-kunafa balls, humous with chicken liver, eggplant fateh, stuffed rice balls and quinoa fattoush, to staple main dishes including machboos, harris and mathrubah, all cooked with the freshest ingredients and a twist of the Mediterranean. Date cake, semolina pudding, homemade apple pie, and Arabic ice cream with pistachio paste and candy cotton are some of the sweet choices on the menu and the creative drink concoctions of milky dates, vimto soda and mango blossom ensure that customers get the full Ramadhan experience.
