GFH WINS BEST ISLAMIC INVESTMENT BANK AT WIBC 2019

GFH Financial Group (GFH) announced that it has been named “Best Islamic Investment Bank” by the “Performance Awards 2019” at the gala dinner of the 26th Annual World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) held under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The honours, which are based on objective data sourced from nominated institution, are the flagship awards for WIBC and are granted to the top financial institutions based on their aggregate performance scores against multiple measures on a global and regional level.

Each financial institution receives an aggregate score based on weighted scores of 3 metrics: Financial Stability, Financial performance and Governance and Social responsibility. Award recipients are those that secure the top aggregate score at the global and regional level. Those that make it in the top 10 at the global level and top five at the regional level will be nominated.

Accepting the award on behalf of GFH was Salah Sharif, the group chief Administration Officer.
