In the radar of our TOT section this week, we have in mind the Bambu restaurant located in Adliya. For one of the most elegant Asian meals you’ll ever eat, make your way to Bambu, Bahrain’s favorite restaurant is newly reopened and relocated in Adliya serving Chinese and oriental food.

Acclaimed chef, Lee Wei  is Bahrain’s legend for a reason; she prepares some of the best Asian food that is filled with flavor and low on grease (NO MSG!)  You’ll enjoy the upscale setting where you won’t feel rushed while you savor each bite of the Chinese delights offered on their menu.

Dining at Bambu is almost as good as going to China. Ok, maybe not that good, but pretty darn close. The food preparation here is spot on and the exotic dishes are well outside the box, but no worry for you more cautious eaters, Bambu has plenty of more traditional fare to please your palate, authentic hot, spicy Szechuan-style cuisine. The fish is fresh, meats are well seasoned and the dim sum is to die for!

Bahrain foodies rave about Bambu because it offers a little something for everyone. Their menu samples street food from both China, Thailand Vietnam and Japan, those craving Chinese love this place. Food is full of flavor not weighed down by excess grease, Bambu is totally MSG free menu (inspired by her own philosophy of eating clean food that are not processed, everything is cooked from scratch.)

Serving both lunch and dinner, the laid back vibe allows time to linger.

Bambu is a bit out of the ordinary. This thinking spans their menu where food is prepared with modern flair and although many traditional items appear, they are anything but expected. Dive into the salt and pepper prawns or black bean shrimp, and you won’t be disappointed! An outdoor dining area is available during cooler months.

What hooks BTW to the restaurant is its signature dish, Chilli Chicken with Broccoli, prepared by Chef Lee Wei.
