Gulf Aviation Academy launches ‘Masaraat’ program

The Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), the Kingdom’s premier provider of high quality aviation and logistics training, has announced the launch of Masaraat, a newly established sub-brand that focuses on providing academic and training programs across a plethora of fields including Land and Maritime training, Management and Leadership, Higher Education.

In light of GAA’s strategic expansion plans, Masaraat, the Arabic word for “paths”, will be the umbrella name under which all non-aviation programs will exist, and will provide the very best educational and training programs across the aforementioned fields.

Masaraat will provide a focused experience with qualified training staff across the fields by utilizing GAA’s expertise in the training field and teaming up with several specialized partners that will bring to the new fields the same expertise and quality standards as those of the aviation programs.

“The establishment of the Masaraat sub-brand will provide the Kingdom with a highly skilled national workforce required to fulfill the needs of the logistics sector, higher education and management,” Transportation, and Telecommunications Minister and GAA Chairman Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed said.

“In line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty the King, the academy will focus on training students and contributing in building a new generation of highly qualified cadre capable of fulfilling future market needs within these sectors. With its launch, Masaraat will ensure the academy is on the right path towards achieving the Kingdom’s future plans and vision.”

Chief Executive Officer of GAA, Capt. Dhaffer Al Abbasi said there was no doubt that the Masaraat sub-brand will provide the best quality training programs in the Kingdom when it comes to Maritime, Higher Education, Land Simulation and other fields.

“With the ongoing expansion, development and diversification of our beloved Kingdom’s sectors, the need for a more encompassing name in the market that focuses on quality of the training is vital,” he said.

“Masaraat will lead the way on that front for all our non-aviation offerings under the GAA brand that will continue to commit to providing its high standard quality training.”
