HH Shaikh Nasser granted Honorary Leadership Personality of the Year Award

HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has been granted the Honorary Leadership Personality of the Year Award in the donation field by the International Donor Service Centre- a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility (CSR).

HH Shaikh Nasser was honoured for the outstanding efforts he is exerting to serve the citizens and residents in Bahrain, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikh Nasser was granted the prestigious award during the Fourth Donors’ Conference and Award 2020, organised virtually by the International Donor Service Centre, in cooperation with the Global Expert consultations group.

Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, was the Honorary patron of the event which was overseen by the Global Centre for Sustainable Development (Global CSD).

The conference, which attracted a great number of Arab and international participants, discussed the growing role of donors in supporting the economic recovery and sustainable development plans.

Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, received the award on behalf of HH Shaikh Nasser.

On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser extended thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad for his constant support for achieving the sustainable development goals in the kingdom, meeting the needs of the citizens and ensuring long-term social care.

HH Shaikh Nasser lauded the efforts of th government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to provide all kinds of support and assistance for the citizens and residents.

HH Shaikh Nasser indicated that the RHF, which enjoys the support of HM the King, has contributed to achieving many goals through the “Feena Khair” campaign, noting that the massive social participation in the campaign to support those affected by COVID-19 will remain engraved in the national memory.

HH Shaikh Nasser expressed appreciation for the International Donor Service Centre for granting him the award, wishing them every success.
