Held under the patronage of H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa – Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology the Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum & IT Expo 2018 announced Huawei as the Forum’s Diamond Sponsor. The sponsorship comes as part of Huawei’s commitment for many initiatives to support the development of ICT sector in the Kingdom.

The Diamond Sponsorship agreement were signed by Ms. Lulwa Sami Ebrahim, the Organizing Committee Chairman and Acting Director, Communications & Marketing of iGA and Mr John Luyuedong, Huawei CEO in Bahrain in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Naeemi the Forum’s Organizing Committee’s Vice Chairman, in charge of the Forums sponsorship committee.

Said Ms. Lulwa, also stating that this partnership is part of a series of partnership activities targeted at building the relationship and developing new scope for the collaboration between the two entities on various levels, it is actually one more good example of public private partnership.
