ID Card Center, Dubai’s first ‘smart’ document processing center has launched a toll-free hotline, 800 IDCARD (800 432273) which is available in Arabic, English, Hindi, and Malayalam, to help customers enquiring on the new ‘UAE Vision’ system for immigration visas.

A significant and convenient service tied to this hotline is the ability for customers to schedule the pickup and delivery of their visa-related transactions through Zajel courier at a convenient location.

Following the recent announcement by the UAE’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) on the ‘UAE Vision’ system for visa processing prompted the ID Card Center to extend its services. The ‘UAE Vision’ system makes it possible for residents to visit any authorized typing or documentation center for visa processing requirements, eliminating the previous need for residents to visit the GDRFA headquarters or its external branches.

ID Card Center is committed to offering and creating an appropriate environment for the happiness of individuals, families, and the community in line with ‘Happy Dubai’ initiatives and the UAE Federal Government’s happiness initiative, National Charter for Happiness and Positivity.

Initially, ID Card Center was one of a select group of authorized providers for the processing of Emirates IDs, but now has an extended list of services which includes applying for visas including visitor visas, renewing residency visas, applying for new residency visas or cancelation. To handle all these services, ID Card Center has a dedicated team of experts and ample physical facilities to accommodate and service hundreds of customers on a daily basis.

Speaking on the delivery of new services to customers, Ismail Ibrahim, Managing Director, ID Card Center, said, “Keeping with the government’s efforts of digitization and technological development, we decided to offer our customers services that will make the visa application processes more convenient and less frustrating.” Mr. Ibrahim also cautioned customers seeking out typing or documentation centers for visa applications to look out for the ‘Amer logo’ as these are the centers approved by the authorities.

The other related services the Center offers range from medical documentation for visas, document attestation, legal translation, legal advice, to business setup processing, business name registration, trademark and barcode registration, and wages protection systems (WPS).
