iGA Announces its Ramadan Timings

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) announces its working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Service Centers in either Muharraq (Seef Mall), Isa Town, Mina Salman port and the Sihla branches can be visited during the official business days from Sunday-Thursday, during 8AM-3PM; while the main headquarters from Sunday-Thursday, during 8AM-2PM.

On the Holy Month, iGA provides a range of services that are of interest to Muslims during Ramadan via the Islamiyat app available on the eGovernment Apps Store (bahrain.bh/apps). The mobile application comprises a list of the daily and weekly Bahraini Ramadan Majalis – allowing the user to view the name and contacts of Majlis holders, especially with the ability to find it on the map.

The app also include a number of services that benefit users throughout the year such as Qiblah location and Pray Timing, also the ‘Mosques & Centers Directory’ service that enables the user to access a directory of mosques, Islamic and Quran recitation centers. Furthermore, the ‘Zakat Calculator’ feature available on the app and updated with the daily price of gold to facilitate the calculation method on the user; in addition to the ‘Hajj & Umrah’ services – a directory of Hajj and Umrah agencies, which comprise their contact details, addresses along with the enquiry service of registering pilgrims.
