The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) officially closes its Sehla branch which serves foreigner families and investors belonging to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) – starting from Sunday 30th July 2017 – by shifting its services to be delivered in the main branch in Isa Town. Such step comes in line with the authority’s continuous keenness to improve procedures in delivering services in the public sector for beneficiaries.

As a response to visitors  requirements,,  The authority worked on preparing  the Isa Town branch where they can accomplish the entire process of a transaction in one place that is easy to reach, with an enough capacity for them and their families.   All services were transferred to the main branch in order to lessen the number of branches to customers as well as ease their delivery to the largest number of customers – in a convenient manner including centralizing work of the branches . Coinciding with this step, iGA is keen on raising awareness of such change to citizens and residents – so as to avoid any issues or surprises that may prevent the customer from obtaining the required service.

ID Card services are considered as one of the most vital services – provided by the authority – due to its importance to every citizen and resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  iGA redistributed the delivery of services in the branches that provide the ID services. Such initiative enhance the quality level and prevent people of Bahrain the difficulty of visiting the service centers as well as reduce the need of contacting employees to benefit from services.

Worthy to note that the authority had previously made changes in several branches as it opened the Mina Salman and Muharraq branches, closed the Sitra branch, continued providing its services in its main  branch (Isa Town), and the Fast Track office without any changes to procedures.
