Indian Ladies Association has launched an initiative to donate previously owned reusable laptops in good working condition to the kids from less fortunate economic backgrounds. ILA shall ensure that the laptops reach the deserving hands before the next academic year begins. This shall be done in consultation with the school authorities.
“With the academic sessions beginning in the month of September, providing laptops to meet the current online requirements could ease the burden on less privileged families who are already reeling under salary cuts and job losses. The e-waste lying around our home or office can be put to good use after backing up the data, formatting the disk and uploading required software” said the Hon. Vice President Ms. Sarada Ajith.
Those who would like to know more about this initiative or wish to donate may please contact Hon. Vice President Ms. Sarada Ajith on 38872702 or Hon. General Secretary Ms. Trupti Sudeep on 36885440.
