Indian PM Launches Digital India week

Inaugurating Digital India Week’ on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi pitched for a digital revolution in the country, which he said is necessary to deal with problems like corruption, for a transparent and efficient governance and to bridge the rich-poor divide.

PM Modi said that India need to move from E-governance to M-governance. “M-governance does not mean Modi governance. It means Mobile governance,” he said at the Digital India Week.

Prime Minister launched series of applications such as Digital Locker, National Scholarship Portal, eHospital, eSignature, MyGov Mobile App, Swachh Bharat Mission App, Wi-Fi Hotspots, Next Generation Network etc..
