INJAZ Bahrain and HSBC launched the latest edition of the “More than Money” program, marking ten years of partnership between the two entities. The innovative program provides Bahrain’s youth with basic financial literacy skills through academic session. More than 16,900 young Bahraini students at the intermediate school level have benefited from the program over the past ten years, with 1570 students in 35 schools participating during the 2016-2017 academic year.
The program was implemented by 52 dedicated volunteers who shared their professional insight and experience with students to apply this knowledge and succeed in their future. The program educates intermediate students about the fundamentals of business and financial knowledge including career selection and financial planning.
Her Highness Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Executive Director of INJAZ Bahrain praised the program and the partnership saying: “More Than Money is INJAZ Bahrain’s flagship financial literacy program for intermediate students. We believe that students need to understand the basics of financial matters and this program educates students in this respect.
