INJAZ Bahrain delivers first of its kind MEGA ICamp workshop & INJAZ Talk

INJAZ Bahrain has successfully held the first ‘MEGA ICamp’ workshop & the fourth ‘INJAZ Talk’ over the course of one day at the university of Bahrain.

The fully packed day has witnessed more than 320 students, 45 volunteers and 20 Alumni’s aiming to explore the spirit of entrepreneurship and foster an understanding of the real business world through experiences shared by speakers during INJAZ Talk.

Delivered by 45 trained corporate volunteers, MEGA ICamp started with a round of activities including a BINGO challenge, an inspiration program, ‘My skills’ program, a problem-solving challenge and ended with a task of creating an innovative business plan. A jury of judges were present to evaluate the work of teams. The esteemed jury members included Dr. Ghada Ahmed from the University of Bahrain, Ms. Safa Khaliq from Tamkeen and Ms. Hana Sarwani, Executive director at INJAZ Bahrain.

Following the MEGA ICamp workshop, ‘INJAZ Talk’, a networking platform was held, where the speakers who took up the challenge on steering their own careers through passion and devotion, gave a motivational talk to inspire the youth amongst the attendees. Alaa Abdulraheem the CEO of Butterfly Technologies, Abdulla Al Mubarak Co-founder of Cro & Knit, Lana Al Attar the founder of Gudjuju, and Mohammed Jaafar the Co-founder of Mufakir Co, came to inspire the youth by sharing their stories and entrepreneurial experiences to guide students to plan their careers and obtain proper skills and individual characteristics to succeed in a global economy and secure a better future.

The day was wrapped up by the judges announcing the Mega ICamp winning teams which included the Maroon team who won the 1st place 1500 BD prize, the red team who won 2nd place 750 BD prize and the yellow team who won 3rd place 375 BD prize. All prizes were sponsored by University of Bahrain.

Ms. Hana Sarwani, INJAZ Bahrain’s Executive Director, commented on the success of the events saying: Our programs and workshops are tailored to fit the needs of our students in preparing for the real business world. We are and will always be committed to share knowledge and values, as well as inspire students through leadership, expertise and guidance on how to turn a basic idea into tangible results. The primary aim of the workshops & programs delivered today is to teach, lead and inspire Bahraini youth towards building a good understanding of self-employment, with first-hand experience of the spirit of entrepreneurship, and using critical and creative thinking for generating innovative product ideas.”

Known for its overwhelming record of success in supporting Bahraini youth, INJAZ Bahrain has reached more than 200,000 students through the 18 programs that the organization offers.
