INJAZ Bahrain organized its annual appreciation day for its participating schools and universities, this past Monday February 27 at the Bapco Club in Awali, to recognize the ongoing collaboration between INJAZ and the Ministry of Education.
The event honoured educators, Ministry of Education officials and school coordinators who are actively involved in the organization’s programs, in the presence of HH Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Executive Director of INJAZ in addition to Ms. Ahlam Al Amer, Director of Private Education at the Ministry of Education and INJAZ Bahrain Board Members.
Certificates of appreciation were distributed to all participating school coordinators for their efforts and valuable contributions over the 2015-2016 academic year. Trophies were also handed out to the Best Schools and Universities for 2015-2016 and to the Ministry of Education for their lasting support in implementing INJAZ Bahrain’s programs.
The event was opened by HH Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa’s welcome speech to guests in which she commended the Ministry of Education for embracing INJAZ Bahrain’s mission since its inception and thanked all Ministry of Education officials, school officials and teachers for all their efforts to support INJAZ Bahrain to inspire and prepare Bahrain’s youth to succeed in the global economy.
In her speech Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa said: “To date 12 years have passed since the inception of INJAZ Bahrain, filled with a series of achievements and distinction which underscore the principle of INJAZ, which is to prepare and position youths as the employees of choice upon entering the workforce. INJAZ Bahrain welcomes partnership with all individuals and institutions. We welcome partnership in our organization, we welcome partnership in schools, we welcome it everywhere.”
With the support of 650 volunteers who were instrumental in reaching over 17,500 students in 94 primary schools, 40 intermediate schools, 24 secondary schools, three technical schools and 11 private schools, as well as five universities over the course of the fall semester 2016-2017. An inspiring success story was shared by the Company Program national and regional competition winners, Team Roshena from Ibn Khuldoon National School.
