Join KHK MMA at Bahrain Sports Day

Join us on the 7th of February for the first ever “Bahrain Sports Day” featuring a wide variety of sports activities, demonstrations, performances, and giveaways!

“Bahrain Sports Day” is organized in line with the GCC National Olympic Committees’ decision to host a unified day of sports and entertainment across the entire Gulf. The multi-sporting event is set to cover all four governorates of the Kingdom in an attempt to promote fitness and health-enhancing physical activities, with The Sports Village in Riffa announced as the main venue.

With 50+ activities scheduled, this action-packed one day national event allows fans to engage in interactive, sports–themed activities, entertainment, and contests for all levels and ages.

KHK MMA members across Bahrain will be taking part in the national celebration of sport this February in support of the ambitious and committed efforts to spread and take Mixed Martial Arts to a different level in the region.

The KHK MMA team has been hard at work with preparations for the event, and have finalized the day’s exciting schedule. The full day of entertainment will include live festivities, MMA challenges, fight techniques, and last but not least a fight tournament where you can watch real MMA action live and loud.

The day starts at 10am with live on site face-off’s at the MMA tournament public weigh ins, followed by an early training session alongside your favorite KHK MMA instructors.

At 1:00pm, MMA Gyms from across Bahrain will meet to demonstrate some of the most exciting martial arts techniques. At 2:00, you will have to opportunity to put your skills and endurance to the test and challenging some of the best KHK MMA professional MMA fighters.

In the end of the day, you will be treated to a MMA spectacle organized by the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) where some of the best talent from MMA schools of Bahrain showcase their skills inside the cage. Participating athletes include 18 year old Nayef Fekry, KHK MMA Yousef Mohammed at 14, and Maher Khaled (18) and Yousef Waleed (16) who both took part in the latest “Bahrain Vs. India” MMA event.

That’s not all, you will have a chance to get 50% off the next Brave event entry, in addition to 1 week free training at Bahrain MMA, where you get the chance learn from professional fighters who have mastered the philosophy of martial arts.

Held at the “Bahrain Sports Day” is a great opportunity to celebrate the power of sport and all it can do to promote the culture of fitness in Bahrain and the GCC. A dedicated micro-site will be launched allowing visitors to explore seven different sections full of up-to-date data covering all aspects of the Bahrain Sports Day, in addition to news, multi-media content and live feed.

10:00 AM Public Weigh-in for fight tournament All the athletes participating in the MMA tournament will weigh-in and face off in front of the public.
11:00 AM Morning work-out Start up your day with a morning MMA oriented physical workout. Learn more about the benefits and influence that sports has on our health.

Everyone Is Welcome!

01:00 PM Demonstration Practitioners from different martial arts gyms will demonstrate an array of fighting techniques. Want to learn, don’t miss this one.
02:00 PM The KHK Challenges You think you got what it takes to step in the cage? KHK fighters will give you 2 minutes to prove yourself, get ready for some interesting challenges and fun interactive games!
04:00 PM Fight Tournament Join Bahrain’s up n coming athletes and enjoy a bouquet of amateur MMA bouts. The tournament is under IMMAF rules and under the supervision of the Bahrain MMA Federation.
