Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain recently honored three employees under the “Fursan Baytik” Employee Recognition Programme for their outstanding achievements during the first quarter of 2017. The employees were selected based on the preset criteria of outstanding performance in various categories of achievements at work.
At the award ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters, Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO together with Executive Managers and Departments Heads presented the 3 employees with their accolades of appreciation. The employees were awarded for the following categories: Mr. Waqqas Uddin for ‘Smart Performance’, Mrs. Maryam Al Qooty for ‘Customer Services and Miss Khawla Naeem for ‘Teamwork’ Award.
During the Ceremony, Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat shared his appreciation for the continuation of such an important programme. He commented ”Fursan Baytik” programme and other employee recognition and motivational programmes will continue, as we consider such programmes a good opportunity to honor our fellow exemplary employees who deserve the Bank’s appreciation and recognition. This recognition is an embodiment of their outstanding achievements and efforts in supporting the Bank’s vision, mission and success.” The MD & CEO also encouraged the employees to continue to persevere, be diligent and to pursue their functional development which are essential factors for their success and development in the Bank. This aspiration should be a part of every employee in KFH-Bahrain.

The honored employees have expressed, to the management, their commitment and dedication to the Bank and to provide their best in support to the Bank’s goals. The winners described this award as a source of motivation to all staff and stressed on its importance in the Bank.
The “Fursan Baytik” Employees Recognition Programme aims to honor and appreciate the achievements of employees in the Bank based on a set of criteria that considers their performance and activities both during work and in their own time out of the office. The programme was established in order to motivate and develop their potential and well-being. Employees are nominated every quarter from all departments within the Bank and a special committee selects employees who fall within the pre-defined criteria. Candidates who are selected for the award would need to be recognized for having a positive attitude towards work and colleagues, providing an outstanding level of service to a customer, leadership, innovation, teamwork and active participation in team achievement. The committee also considers the employee’s achievements outside work such as pursuing and attaining professional certificates or academic degrees, how they promote and represent the Bank, and their social activities to the society.
