KFH–Bahrain Honors Employees with “Fursan Baytik” Award

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain has honored three new employees under the ‘Fursan Baytik’ Employee Recognition programme in recognition of their outstanding achievements and performance during the second quarter of 2017.

Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO at KFH-Bahrain, , presented the three employees with their awards and certificates of appreciation at an award ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters in the Bahrain World Trade Center in the presence of several officials and executives from the Bank.

The employees were awarded based on preset categories of outstanding performance. The awarded employees for the second quarter of 2017 were Mrs. Lamees Akbar for the ‘Teamwork’ Award Category, Mr. Mohammed AlSabbagh for ‘Smart Performance’ and Mr. Mohammed Janahi for ‘Customer Service’.

On this occasion, Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat commented: “I would like to congratulate all the employees who have recently joined our ‘Fursan Baytik’ programme and wish them further success and progression. The award comes as an acknowledgment of their outstanding achievements and dedicated efforts in supporting KFH-Bahrain’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.”

“The awarded employees represent an exemplary model of excellence, commitment and dedication which are considered key elements of success and advancement for both the employee and the organization,” he added.

Mrs. Lamees Akbar was chosen for her dedication and continuous commitment in achieving group objectives and working with the team to achieve optimal results, as well as her outstanding proactive performance and cooperation. Mr. Mohammed Al Sabbagh was awarded for his outstanding effectiveness at achieving financial results while reducing risk and costs leading to enhanced efficiency and competitiveness levels. Mr. Mohammed Janahi was recognized for providing an outstanding level of service to the Bank’s customers leading to achieving an excellent customer experience level and enhancing brand loyalty.

The ‘Fursan Baytik’ Employees Recognition Programme aims to honor and appreciate the achievements of employees in the Bank based on preset criteria that considers their performance and activities during work and in their own time out of the office. The programmes was established in order to motivate and develop their potential and well-being. Employees are nominated every quarter from all departments within the Bank and a special committee selects employees who fall within the pre-defined criteria. Candidates who are selected for the award would need to be recognized for having a positive attitude towards work and colleagues, providing an outstanding level of service to a customer, leadership, innovation, teamwork and active participation in team achievement. The committee also considers the employee’s achievements outside work such as pursuing and attaining professional certificates or academic degrees, how they promote and represent the Bank, and their social activities to the society.
