KFH – Bahrain Launches Community Based Banking Services

As part of its efforts to innovate and invest in the field of FinTech and the promotion of digital banking services, Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain, one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a major contributor to the development of the Islamic financial sector in the Kingdom, announces the launch of a new update to the Jazeel application which will offer new and unique features as community banking services.

The exclusive services provided through the Jazeel application will be free of charge, and include the launch of the Bahraini talent development program ‘Bahrain Talent’ for the first time in November. The launch of this program falls under the umbrella of corporate social responsibility, which includes holding a series of training courses in various sectors to highlight the skills of new entrants to the labor market and their desire to refine and develop their skill-set. Bahrain Talent will also provide the opportunity to embrace Bahraini talents by refining and utilizing their skills to meet the needs of the local labor market.

In its first version, brings back the Bahraini culture and heritage (in the jewelry sector), KFH-Bahrain will work in partnership with Devji Aurum jewelers and the National Institute for Design (NID) from India to select 20 participants to take part in an apprenticeship program for jewelry design, which will commence in December. This initiative grants the top three winners of the programme cash prizes and an opportunity to work fulltime at Devji Aurum jewelry, while the other participants will acquire the necessary expertise to qualify for a suitable vacancies in the respective industry highlighting their talents and enabling them to achieve their dreams.

On this occasion, Deputy Head of Retail Banking at KFH-Bahrain, Mr. Subah Abdul-Latif Al Zayani said, “Our digital strategy supports the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in developing and further energising the FinTech sector. We have also endeavored to stay up to date with the rapid developments related to this sector. As a result, we have updated the Jazeel application, which comes in line with our efforts to provide the best services, products and banking solutions to our customers in order to meet their banking needs. We have also committed ourselves to providing a unique banking experience based on creativity and innovation. We offer unique features that are characterized by a spirit of giving and enhancing the banking experience.”

Relatively, registered members of Jazeel will also be able to apply for the KFH–Bahrain internship Programme, either for themselves or their first degree relatives, as the program seeks to create a number of effective and modern functions to develop their practical abilities and qualify them for a better future.

The initiative is part of KFH-Bahrain’s drive to implement the digital transformation strategy, which contributes towards its commitment towards focusing its efforts on maximizing the use of advanced technology to deliver outstanding services to its customers.
