KFH-Bahrain Signs Financing Agreement with Ibn Khuldoon National School

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), announced that it will finance the construction of new buildings at Ibn Khuldoon National School, following the agreement signed between the two parties on Sunday 27th May, 2018.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Farouk Yousef Al-Moayyad the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Khuldoon National School and Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KFH-Bahrain. The signing ceremony was also attended by KFH-Bahrain representatives Mr. Yousif Al Hammadi, Executive Manager, Mr. Mahmood Al Mahmood and Mr. Mohammed Al Sabbagh of the Corporate Banking Group at the Bank. The school’s representatives included the Chairperson of the Board of Directors Mrs. Fareeda Al Moayed, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, Mr. Fuad Taqi, as well as the President of Ibn Khuldoon National School, Dr. Kamal Abdel-Nour.

On this occasion, Mr. Farouk Al Moayyad said: “The school has been continuously developing its facilities since its launch 35 years ago. We are delighted to be working with KFH-Bahrain to continue this process, and we appreciate their support and thank them for their efforts. In addition to our agreement with the bank, the building construction was signed by the Mohamed Salahuddin Consulting Engineering Bureau”.

“The agreement to finance the construction of new buildings in Ibn Khuldoon National School goes in line with our initiatives to further develop the education sector in the Kingdom. We are pleased to see this cooperation between us and the prestigious school, as we look forward to supporting the educational sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain by contributing to the development of the various facilities and buildings in the Kingdom’s schools,” Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat, commented.

The school plans to construct new buildings and facilities for the kindergarten and primary sections of the school to suit its future aspirations. The new building will feature state-of-the-art educational facilities including a theatre, science and technology laboratories, educational halls, a modern media center, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, prayer rooms, a cafeteria, underground parking space and other facilities.

Ibn Khuldoon National School was established in 1983, with the first patch of students graduating in 1992. Since its inception, the school started to work towards achieving its objectives as an educational model based on Arab and Islamic values that seeks to help students develop in harmony with their culture and traditions, and meets the high academic standards of international education paving the way for the students to assume in the future leading roles locally and internationally.
