KHK Holdings announce launch of marketplace from Indonesia, in Bahrain

SRAM & MRAM Resources Company WLL, a international conglomerate with footprints across 5 continents and 12 countries announced to set up Garuda City, a marketplace for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Indonesia in Bahrain. The company will open operations along with its partners SMEXINDO and Exelon. By strengthening the SME sector a stronger and wider foundation will be built which will be assist sustainable growth.
The initiative helps Indonesian SMEs tap into the Middle East market and to strengthen bilateral trade relationships. This was announced at Capital Club, Manama presided by the Indonesian Ambassador in Bahrain, Nur Syahrir Rahardjo. The project was brought to Bahrain by the initiative of KHK Holding and through a joint venture partnership between Exelon, Smexindo and Sram & Mram Resources Company. Addressing the press conference were Samsul Hadi, Founder Chairman, Smexindo & Indukumkm, Sailesh Lachu Hiranandani, Chairman, Sram & Mram Resources Company WLL, Nur Syahrir Rahardjo, Indonesian Ambassador, Mohammad Mansoor, CEO & Managing Director, Exelon Industrial Solutions and Mohammad Shahid, CEO, KHK Holdings. “On this occasion, I would like to take this opportunity to showcase the vision of KHK Holdings in your midst. The Kingdom of Bahrain is committed to sports and sporting events and his Highness Shaikh Khalid has taken personal interest in promoting sporting events in Manama.” said Shahid.
INDUKUMKN’s operations for the GCC and MENA regions will strengthen the growing relationship between Indonesia and The Kingdom of Bahrain. This partnership will have a substantial economic impact, generating extensive employment opportunities, enhancing economic diversity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and attracting further investment opportunities from Indonesia.
