Korean Arts Brass Ensemble performs successfully in the Cultural Hall

The Embassy of the Republic of korea in the kingdom of Bahrain organized its first cultural event for the year 2023 amidst an opulent attendance of government officials, diplomatic corps and culture loving audience in the kingdom.

The audience welcomed enthusiastically the visit of the Korean Arts Brass Ensemble that played several medleys and musical pieces loved and cherished universally.

HE the Korean Ambassador welcomed the audience and the visiting band, describing it as “one of the leading Brass ensembles in Korea and individually won various awards in international competitions”. H.E. shared his strong believe in the performance of the band, lauding their ability to “indulge the audience senses into the glorious harmony of a brass ensemble” HE also featured taking the audience on a journey through original soundtracks, jazz arrangements and some K-pop music pieces.”

The band played a number of musical pieces and garnered the adoration and enthusiasm of the audience and most importantly when they played one of the most popular songs “Ma Ma’akum Khabar Zain” in collaboration with Ms. Dana Al Abdulla, pianist at the Bahrain Defense Force Band.

When asked about how they felt about visiting and performing in the Kingdom, the band’s team leader, Mr. Bo-min Jeong said ““Before the show, we were told that the Bahraini audience is relatively calm and reserved, however, at the show we are surprised to see their passionate and heartwarming reactions. The active interaction with the audience made us more invigorated while playing on the stage.”

After the performance, the visiting Korean band took photos with the audience and shared many happy moments and thanked them for their warm welcome and enthusiasm.

The Korean Arts Brass, one of the most prominent Korean brass ensembles, is composed of 6 alumni from the Korean National University of Arts (K-Arts), comprising trumpet, trombone, tuba, horn and percussion players.
