Kumon Bahrain, a global leading mathematics and English tutoring centre, celebrated its 15 year anniversary with a ceremony held at the Gulf Hotel in Adliya. The ceremony also recognised the achievements of Kumon’s higher level students who completed their advanced courses.

The ceremony was attended by Kumon Bahrain’s Executive Director Ms. Claire Gaffney as well as special guests Mr Akio Tsunoda, the President of Kumon Institute of Education and Mr. Tadashi Nakatsuka, President of Kumon Europe and Africa. More than 240 students of different mathematical ability levels, between the ages of 11-17 years old , were honoured at the prestigious event.

Kumon Bahrain first began in the year 1999, and has since opened three major study centres across the Kingdom. More than 2000 students have benefited from their enrollment in the Bahrain programme, including students of all nationalities in government and private schools as well as university students.
