LG Electronics Gulf in association with AJM Kooheji Group, held a Tech Seminar on LG Information Display solutions at their Showroom in Sehla. The seminar had over 50 attendees from across leading consultants, architects, property developers and system integrators.
LG Electronics displayed their latest range of digital solutions which included the 98” Ultra HD 4K premium signage display. This Ultra HD screen delivers an immersive viewing experience and has high definition picture quality that is 4 times higher than FHD. Up-scaling and Super Resolution technology enhances the quality of FHD content to near-UHD quality on this large screen display. This high performance webOS based solution supports portrait and landscape orientations and can be used in 24/7 usage scenarios.
The event witnessed the introduction of the World’s Narrowest Bezel Video Wall display with 1.8 mm bezel-to-bezel. Its quad-core webOS platform plays various types of contents without the need for an extra media player. This solution can be very effective in government, public offices, large retail stores, museums and galleries to showcase eye-catching contents.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the 86” Ultra Stretch Display that is unique of its kind in the industry. This product features its narrow and stretched design making it suitable for space limited areas in portrait and landscape orientation. Utilizing the PBP (picture by picture) feature of this product, inputs from up to 4 content sources can be connected to show in a single content. This special stretch display can be effectively used in way finding, retail stores, QSR (quick service restaurant) menu boards.
Other digital signage solutions introduced included 84” UHD Interactive Whiteboard, 10” and 22” small displays and webOS based monitors in various sizes.
In the Hotel TV product range, the newest UHD 3D TV with Cinema Screen design was showcased. This Pro:Centric Smart TV has advanced connectivity features through AllJoyn, DIAL and Bluetooth Sound Sync.
