Kanoo, launched an awareness campaign promoting ‘green’ construction through products designed to improve energy efficiency and assist in gaining LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. LEED is a point system, laid out by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), which represents a benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-level performance buildings that are environment-friendly. The system takes into account many aspects which aim to improve the internal environment of the design.
LLumar EnerLogic films can assist companies by allowing them to obtain up to 9 LEED certification points through substantial improvements in the areas of light pollution reduction, energy performance optimisation, thermal comfort improvement, better daylighting and views, innovations in operations and upgrades, and the optimisation of alternative materials.
