Luke Bell is set to end his season with a vengeance at Ironman 70.3 Ballarat. After last year’s second-place finish where he was sent the wrong way on the run leg, the Australian looks forward to settling the score at what he considers his home race.

“Growing up in the western districts of Victoria as a kid I used to travel to Ballarat for all types of sporting events,” he says. “It will be great to get back there and race with the support of family and friends that have been a part of my journey over the years.”

Bell took victory at Challenge Shepparton three weeks ago and hopes to back that up with another win to end what has been a long year for him. He adds, “It is also nice to go back to the country events and show the kids back there that if you keep striving and chasing your dreams you can live an amazing life.”

This brings to an end the first year of racing for the Bahrain Endurance Team. An unprecedented year of results across the board from the team. We also played a part in creating triathlon history with Daniela Ryf claiming the inaugural Nassar Bin Hamad Triple Crown series.
