Italian Ambassador the Bahrain H.E. Domenico Bellato inaugurated the Lulu Hypermarket Italian Festival on November 19, 2018 at the Lulu Hypermarket, Hidd.
A celebration of Italian cuisine which is rated one of the most popular in the world and also one of the healthiest, the festival will run till November 25 with promotions to introduce customers to the wide range of Italian ingredients available at Lulu – from Italian cheeses and meats to olive oil and herbs as well as pasta and nutty Italian risotto rice.
The inauguration also included a cookery demo by new-age Italian cookery experts Cacio & Pepe, Bahrain-based duo who treated guests to a demo of fusion Italian-Bahraini cooking. The two experts shall also be presiding over a cookery contest of Italian food this Friday (November 23) at the Lulu Hypermarket in Hidd with great prizes.
Michelin 5 star chef Valentino Palmisano shall be available for Meet & Greet at the same venue on Friday.
