The International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) recognises outstanding achievements in Marketing, Design & Development and Retail categories
Majid Al Futtaim’s shopping malls across the UAE and Bahrain took home a total of seven prestigious awards for retail and marketing excellence at the recent 2015 Middle East and North Africa Shopping Centre and Retailer Awards, which were announced at an awards ceremony in Dubai at RECon Middle East and North Africa (MENA) on November 4th.
Hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), the awards are designed to recognise the shopping centre industry’s most cutting-edge properties, innovative solutions and creative responses to market trends, as well as outstanding examples of design and development across the region.
As a keynote speaker at the RECon Middle East and North Africa (MENA) conference, Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Senior Director of Property Management, Shopping Malls for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, emphasised the organisation’s role as the Middle East’s industry thought leader as an innovator in customer service.
“The Middle East & North Africa Shopping Centre Global Awards is a benchmark that recognises industry excellence. To be awarded as a regional leader in retail and marketing is a great honour and further stamps our commitment to trail new ground, lead by example and enhance customer experience by delivering impactful campaigns that bring great moments to our mall visitors. The ICSC is the premier global trade association of the shopping industry, linked more than 70,000 members in over 100 countries include shopping centre owners, developers, managers, investors, retailers, brokers, academics, and public officials. All Gold Award winners are automatically eligible to win ICSC’s prestigious VIVA Award presented at RECon in Las Vegas on May 22, 2016.
