Jaguar Land Rover MENA Wins ‘Best Midsize Executive Sedan’ and ‘Best Large Premium SUV’ at the 2016 Middle East Car of the Year Awards (MECOTY)

Continuing its award winning streak, luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover is proud to announce winning two automotive accolades at the 2016 edition of Middle East Car of the Year (MECOTY) Awards that took place on Thursday, March 31st 2016 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Jaguar saw its All-New Jaguar XF crowned as ‘Best Midsize Executive Sedan’ of the year. Possessing an unrivalled combination of style and substance, the all-new Jaguar XF delivers an utterly seductive blend of design, dynamics and refinement to create a car that offers both excitement and efficiency. All enhanced by state-of-the-art technologies that keep the occupants safe, connected and entertained.

Land Rover also received an award, with the most powerful, most luxurious Range Rover ever made, the Range Rover SVAutobiography, awarded ‘Best Large Premium SUV’ of the year. Designed and engineered by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations in the United Kingdom, the Range Rover SVAutobiography represents the pinnacle of luxury, refinement and desirability, drawing on a lineage that can be traced back to 1970.

Speaking about the awards ceremony that took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Bruce Robertson, Managing Director at Jaguar Land Rover MENA, said: “MECOTY is one of the most respected award platforms for the automotive industry in this region, and we are proud to see two of our most outstanding vehicles being recognised.
