Much awaited F1 races return, Bahrain to host two F1 final 2020 races

The much awaited news of F1 returning has finally come! Formula 1 has confirmed the final four races for the 2020 season, with Bahrain hosting two grands prix and Turkey returning after a nine-year absence.

The sport has constructed an impressive 17-race calendar after the delays and restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Abu Dhabi will be starting the final round on December 13.

Six races so far has run behind closed doors. F1 has also confirmed that a “number of races” will “be open to a limited number of fans, including hospitality”, with reviews on the policy regularly held.

Bahrain will become the third venue this year to host back-to-back events after Austria and Silverstone. While the first event on November 29 will run under the normal Bahrain GP name, the second will be called the Sakhir GP in reference to the region the track is situated.
