The eighth Nasser bin Hamad Football Championship, also known as Nasser 8, is well on its way. The advisory committee for Nasser 8 held a meeting to discuss tournament details such as the procedures regarding administration and regulation affairs.
Overseen by Bahrain Olympic Committee General-Secretary Abdulrahman Askar, the assemblage had the presence of a representative from the Bahrain Football Association and also saw attendance from Supreme Organising Committee Deputy Chairman and Nasser
8 Director, Hassan Ismail; Bahrain Volleyball Association representative,
Firas Al Halwachi; Bahrain Basketball Association representative, Abdulhassan Al Hayki and Bahrain Handball Association representative, Khalid Al Najem. HH Shaikh Nasser Media and Information Centre Head, and Nasser 8 Supreme Organising Committee Chairman, Tawfeeq Al Salehy, also graced the event.
The patrons praised HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee for frequenting the tournament.
The members of the committee were lauded by Al Salehy for their impressive cooperation and coordination shown in preparation for the tournament.
The committee, supervised by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, declared cash prizes appropriated for the audience of the four contests of Nasser 8.
Lucky spectators will be able to hit it big with cash prizes of BD 200 during each match. This is apart from the prizes for the best players of each match that has already been in action since Friday.
