Marassi Al Bahrain – a unique waterfront project situated in Diyar Al Muharraq – held a National Day Carnival over the weekend, featuring two days of festivities open to the public. Hundreds flocked to the beachfront – which features a children’s play area and a food-truck court – to enjoy traditional activities such as Bahraini Ardah and Laiwa performances, live cooking of local dishes, outdoor movies, and activities for children.
Marassi Al Bahrain hosted the festivities as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting a healthy community lifestyle, and welcomed traditional Arda and Laiwah Bahraini bands, along with fitness sessions hosted by Tribal Fitness and suitable for all ages, Giant Snakes and Ladders, and arts and crafts for the whole family. Marassi Al Bahrain’s beach area regularly hosts activities for the public, and has held many weekends of festivities, including a local vendor market, art and photography exhibitions, fitness sessions and sporting events.
