In line with the close collaboration among the Centre and the various sports entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Al Jenan Medical Centre has conducted comprehensive medical check-ups for the Bahrain National Football team’s players and staff at Salman bin Mohammed Centre which belongs to Bahrain Football Association. The check-ups included EKG and further tests have been planned, pending the results.
The procedure was overseen by Dr Ameen Abdullah, Chairman of Al Jenan Medical Centre and Dr Mohammed Salman, Medical Director of the Centre.
On this occasion, Dr Ameen Abdullah affirmed that this initiative confirms the Centre’s keenness to partner with the private sectors and sports federations and contribute to providing distinguished medical services to the national team players in light of the centre’s strategy to cooperate with various parties. Furthermore, he praised the close relationship linking the Centre with Bahrain Football Association.
On his part, Dr Mohammed Salman explained that the examinations come within the framework of ensuring the health and safety of the players of the national team in order to protect them from exposure to sudden injuries, as it included measuring blood sugar levels, vital activities such as blood temperature, blood pressure, measuring weight and height, and conducting an electrocardiogram.
Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Buaineen, Manager of the team, expressed utmost appreciation and gratitude to Al Jinan Medical Centre for their initiative.
