The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) today announced its July raffle winners for the Alwatani savings account scheme. For the period, the Bank awarded four lucky customers each with a ¼ kg bar of gold. Winners for the month of July were: Ms. Zahra Merza Abdulbaqi, Mr. Jaffer Hussain Ali Kadhim, Ms. Zahra Ali Essa Hassan and Mr. Saleh Hamad Khalil Hussain Alamer.
The revamped Alwatani offer gives loyal NBB savers a chance to win a wide variety of exciting prizes. This year they include cash prizes, gold bars, luxury apartments at Amwaj Island as well as a villa in the prestigious Riffa Views.

Alwatani prize awards are rotated on a monthly basis and include:
- 22 daily cash prizes of US$3000 each available in April, June, August and October 2017.
- Four gold prizes consisting of bars weighing 1/4kg each available in May, July and November 2017.
- Four “Grand Prizes” consisting of two luxury apartments in Amwaj and two 1kg bars of gold in September 2017.
- Three “Mega Prizes” consisting of one villa in Riffa Views and two 1kg bars of gold in October 2017.
To quality to win savings account holders must maintain a minimum average monthly balance of BD50 for eligibility to be entered into the daily cash and gold prize draws. Customers with minimum average monthly balances of BD1,000 or more are eligible for cash and gold prizes as well as Grand Prize draws. Customers with minimum average monthly balances of BD3,000 or more are eligible to win all prize categories including the Mega Prizes.
There are no additional formalities or certificates required for customers to be enrolled in the monthly draws and all eligible Savings and Savewave accounts which maintain the minimum balance requirements also become automatically eligible to win these prizes.
