Alba announces new Acting Director of Administration

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based leading international aluminium smelter, announced the appointment of Dr. Elham Al Eid as the Company’s new Acting Director of Administration.

In her role as the Acting Director of Administration, Dr. Elham will oversee the departments of Human Resources, Training and Development, Alba Health Care Centre and Alba Club.

Speaking about this appointment, Alba’s Chief Executive, Tim Murray said:

“I look forward to seeing Dr. Elham take the challenge to run such a critical organisation within the Company. We are proud to provide leadership opportunities for national employees, in particular women, who play a critical role in achieving the Company’s goals.

Dr. Elham joined Alba in 2006 as a Medical Officer and since 2012, she has been serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Alba’s Health Care Centre.

A Master of Medical Science from the University of Sheffield, UK, Dr. Elham is currently pursuing her MBA from French Arabian Gulf Business School in partnership with ESSEC, Bahrain.
