Bahrain British Business Forum BBBF hosted its monthly business networking luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel where the forum’s new website www.bbbforum.org was launched. The meeting was chaired by the BBBF Chairman, Mr. Khalid Al Zayani, who welcomed Mr. Ollie Hunt, Digital Director of From 6 Communications, as the keynote speaker to present the new website to the forum members and their guests.
In his presentation, which was attended by 85 BBBF members and guests, Mr. Hunt highlighted the new features of the refreshed website and members’ portal. The updated website showcases the forum’s services and ties in with BBBF’s strategy as the leading business forum in the kingdom, this year playing integral part in the 200th anniversary celebrations of Bahraini-British relations.
The new website has been designed to be user-friendly with easy access to information, allowing more direct interaction and involvement from members. Mr. Hunt demonstrated the new website’s features live to the members. Apart from registering for events online, the forum members can now manage their membership and directory listing online, post press releases to the news section of the site and post opportunities to the opportunities board. Photo galleries from past events can also be viewed directly on the site. Online payments for memberships and events will be introduced in the near future.
The BBBF is a growing network of businessmen and women in Bahrain, which now has over 450 members. The forum aims to promote trade and investment between Bahrain and Britain by offering opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing between the two business communities.
