In today’s busy world, keeping up with the progress of all your transactions can be a real chore. This is what makes the recently launched NotifyMe an essential service, as it will keep you up to date with all your pending government transactions by sending regular alerts straight to your phone.
Created by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the new service is available to Bahrainis, residents, and GCC citizens, offering them a central platform to automatically receive official notifications via SMS and email, and presenting a more environmentally-friendly option by replacing paper correspondence.
One of the most important national projects, the new service aims to raise the efficiency of communication between the government and public by keeping everyone securely and privately informed. The service also significantly cuts down on delivery times and associated paperwork and logistics, while reducing expenses and administration work for all involved.
To use the NotifyMe service, visit National Portal bahrain.bh and login with your eKey or ID card, then select ‘Register Contact Details’. Once the login attempt is successful, the system will request you to enter your mobile number and One-Time Passwords (OTP), which will be sent via SMS. You can then click on the link you receive by email to complete the registration.
