In maintaining Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts’ strong focus on its sustainability programme ‘Shine’, the five-star Bahrain property, in association with Jotun paints, organised a charitable event wherein volunteers painted and beautified the Hidd Rehabilitation Centre for an entire afternoon.
The Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain team volunteered to help give a facelift to Hidd Rehabilitation Centre in Muharraq that cares after Bahraini children with special needs. Over 20 management and staff joined in the charitable effort and spent the afternoon revamping the centre. The result revealed a beautified facility, with freshly painted walls, replanted garden and a functional play area where children spend most of their days having fun.

Commenting on the initiative, Hotel General Manager Daniel Kaan shared “We’re very glad to participate in an energetic activity that directly and immediately benefits our local community. This leaves a positive memory and impact, that our society cares and supports children with special needs”
