Panasonic Showcases Rugged Security Camera Aero-PTZ at Intersec

Aero-PTZ (WV-SUD638) provides Full HD 60fps imagery with a 30x optical zoom lens within a tough fibreglass body resistant desert weather conditions

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF), a global leader in providing smart security solutions, is showcasing its robust PTZ security camera, designed for the most severe weather conditions and mission-critical applications, at Intersec 2017 happening at Dubai International and Convention Centre on January 22-24.

The Aero-PTZ (WV-SUD638) provides Full HD 60fps imagery with a 30x optical zoom lens within a tough fibreglass body resistant to both erosion and salt corrosion and suitable for harshest desert weather conditions. The camera features hybrid image stabilisation technology and gyro-sensors to minimise the effect of external vibrations on imagery. In addition, the super dynamic function ensures a wider dynamic range compared to conventional cameras.

Designed for applications at height, at sea and on ports, piers and bridges, the camera’s active sense technology responds to external conditions, initiating a built-in wiper, heater and defroster to continually capture the highest quality imagery in the harshest of conditions.

“Aero-PTZ is our latest solution to the customers in this region, which has seen both government and private sector adopting advanced surveillance technologies across all sectors. Capable of withstanding extreme conditions, Aero-PTZ is equipped for installation at any kind of facility and produces sharp, crisp images. Intersec is one of the biggest and the most anticipated security and safety events of the year, and our products are designed to meet the needs of this growing market,” said Mr. Tetsuo Okawa, Senior Sales & Marketing Manager – Security Solutions, PMMAF.

The 360⁰ aerodynamic spherical design minimises wind resistance allowing the camera to operate successfully at wind speeds of up to 60 m/s. A ‘radius bodyline’ helps deter snow and dirt build-up on the light-weight, fibreglass body.

Available in three colours, the camera is IP67 rated and vandal proof to IK10 standards. It has a sphere pan-tilt mechanism allowing endless 360-degree panning and a 90° to -90° tilt range.

Panasonic is showcasing a wide range of security and surveillance solutions at booth A24 located in Sheikh Saeed Hall no 1 at Intersec 2017.
