Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit presented to iGA Employees

Following the Royal Decree by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to all concerned authorities, to award medals to frontline workers in the health sector, the Bahrain Defense Force, the Ministry of Interior, and all supporting agencies, the Minister of Interior, H.E. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, instructed the Information & e Government Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mohamed AlQaed, to awarded the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit to a number of iGA employees who have supported the Kingdom of Bahrain’s comprehensive efforts to combat the global COVID-19COVID- pandemic .

On this occasion, AlQaed expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, for the royal orders to honour all frontliners from the health sector, Bahrain Defense Force, Ministry of Interior and all supportive entities. Al Qaed also extended his sincere appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the support which lead to achieving the aspirations of HM the King to honour all employees deserving the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit, stressing that such appreciation motivates the team to continue to give its best under any circumstances.

Moreover, Al Qaed praised the efforts of iGA employees for their commitment and dedication in providing the technical support to the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), wishing them to continue their hard work to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership and support the information and communication technology sector of the Kingdom.

He affirmed that the iGA will continue to reinforce cooperation and joint efforts to provide all needed support in implementing the digital transformation plans as well as building capacities and skills that enable them dealing with various systems and technologies under different circumstances.

On the other hand, the award recipients expressed their deep pride for this awarding and their gratitude to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for this recognition, reaffirming their commitment towards the national initiatives and the eTransformation program in the Kingdom.
