In an initiative that aims to raise health awareness among the society, Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH) Medical Center- part of KIMS medical group – has conducted a comprehensive health checkup for the Indian School students at the school’s premises in Riffa area, recently.

With more than 200 participants, the free of charge medical camp featured several health tests and screenings including weight, height, Body Mass Index ( BMI), Blood Pressure and Diabetes measurements that have been conducted by RBH Medical Center’s expert medical staff, followed by health awareness talks and consultations provided by Dr. Fadia Sharif, General Practitioner at the hospital.

“It is recommended to undergo a health screening tests every six months, as it helps in finding out any particular condition even if the individual feels perfectly well. Early detection, followed by treatment can result in better outcomes, and lowers the risk of serious complications,” said, Mr. Jacob Thomas, Director of Operations at RBH Medical Center.
