RCO Awarded Best Arab Charity Organisation

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) hailed the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Honorary President of RCO, to charity and humanitarian works in Bahrain and beyond.

His Highness also praised the supportive role of the Wise Government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to field of charity.

Additionally, HH Shaikh Nasser also appreciated the executive administration and all the staff members of RCO. Their dedication and devotion in serving orphans, widowed and the needy inside the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad.

This came during a special ceremony that was recently organised by RCO on the occasion of winning the Best Charity Organisation Award. The award in the Arab World by the Foundation of Arab Achievers.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that this notable achievement comes as a result of the endless support and care of HM the King to charity and humanitarian works. Especially benefiting widows and orphans, providing them with all the necessary services and care in a professional manner.

His Highness also highlighted that HM the King’s care to this field reflects the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain. Efforts towards the various people who suffer the pain of conflicts, wars and natural disasters across the world.

For his part, RCO General Secretary Dr Mustafa Al Sayed expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, for HM the King’s care and support to the children and families under the care of RCO, as well as to the charity and humanitarian works of the Organisation.

Dr Al Sayed also expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and HH Shaikh Nasser for the boundless support to RCO.

Commenting further, Dr Al Sayed mentioned that the Organisation has achieved several human and developmental achievements at all local and international levels. As a result of which it deserved to be awarded by the Foundation of Arab Achievers as the best charity organisation in the Arab World. Adding that this honour is the result of great efforts and continuous work in the field of charity and humanitarian work with efficiency.

Engineer Sameh Ali Lutfi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation of Arab Achievers, expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King in a speech he delivered during the ceremony. He valued the leading role of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support and care for the people of the world, charity and humanitarian works.

Mr. Ltfi congratulated the Wise Leadership and HH Shaikh Nasser on the occasion of winning the Foundation’s award as the best Arab charity.

By the end of the ceremony, HH Shaikh Nasser opened a historical exhibition. Showcasing and documenting the projects and achievements of RCO through pictures and images that reflect the efforts of the organisation throughout the years.
