Renovated King Fahd Causeway mosque reopens

The newlook King Fahd Causeway Mosque has today reopened its doors after undergoing BD1.2 million renovation work.

Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa deputized Sunni Endowments Council Chairman Dr. Rashid Al-Hajeri to inaugurate the revamped mosque.

The opening ceremony was also attended by King Fahd Causeway Authority Chief Executive Officer Emad Almohaisen and a number of other officials.

He praised the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hailing their drive to construct mosques and care for worshippers.

King Fahd Causeway Authority Chief Executive Officer Emad Almohaisen said that the mosque been revamped and expanded by 60% to accommodate 630 worshipers. The parking lot has also been expanded to have a capacity of 80 cars.
