RHF reviews benefits of building successful team in institutions

Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Dr. Mustafa Sayed, gave his third training lecture as part of a weekly series given through TEAMS programme.

Themed “Building a Successful Team in Institutions”, the series is presented by Ahmed Bahar with the participation of Chairman of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Deputy Head of Bahrain Health and Safety Society Yasser Abdulrahim, Head of the Women Development Society Khadija Al-Asid, members and affiliates of RHF, staff members of Nasser Vocational Training Centre, Seef Properties Company, Egyptian Zakat House, GPIC, Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian Work, Bahrain Health and Safety Society and the Women Development Society. A host of administrative and leading personalities at ministries and companies also participated.

The lecture is part is part of a series of training lectures in modern administration and creativity culture which was inaugurated by Personal Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The RHF Secretary General shed light in his lecture on key chapters in building a successful team in institutions. He noted that one of the benefits of building a successful team is creating loyalty to the institution. Besides, the team gives a clearer vision of the institution’s goals. He added a successful team also strengthens cooperation between the other teams, achieves better productivity and stimulates psychological stability of the employee.

Dr. Mustafa Sayed revealed the importance of following scientific methods in building a work team, stressing that one of the characteristic features of a successful team is cooperation and clarity of roles and responsibilities of each individual. He also stressed the significance of setting clear goals and the use of creativity in implementing tasks. He also highlighted the four stages in building a successful team: formation, brainstorming, stability and criteria and productivity.

The lecture received a great response from the participants who sought answers to their diverse queries.
