Sabre opens new Middle East headquarters office in Bahrain

Sabre Corporation  (NASDAQ: SABR) ) the leading technology provider for the global travel industry,  with operations across the Middle East for over two decades, celebrated the opening of its new regional headquarters for Travel Network Middle East in Manama, Bahrain. The Global Travel Network’s marketplace processes more than US$120 billion of global travel spend annually by connecting travel buyers and suppliers.

Sabre Travel Network, Middle East (STNME) along with its partner Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) and leading travel companies in Bahrain celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters at the iconic building; Harbour Towers/ East- within Bahrain Financial Harbour.

The new office is designed to reflect Sabre’s passion for innovation and is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art-technology to provide support to a large scale of travel agencies and corporate travel buyers in the Middle East.

“We are investing to attain high levels of efficiency and provide support to our growing customer base and that requires expanding our operations to continue providing uncompromised levels of support,” said Raymond Vrijenhoek, vice president, Sabre Travel Network, Middle East. “We have moved to a bigger office with an advanced training center and have upgraded our helpdesk support technology to provide world-class customer service that provides support in four different languages across the Middle East.”

The regional Travel Network headquartered in Bahrain serves as an operational hub for 11 offices located in strategic markets including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Egypt.
