President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza inaugurated Innovative Energy Solutions conference organized by Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization (BEO).
Dr. Mirza presented the latest global developments that were announced at the annual meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) which was held virtually presided by Abu Dhabi.
He talked about the pioneering experience of Bahrain in the field of sustainable energy and energy efficiency, and His Majesty the King’s role and his interest in encouraging the utilization of clean energy, noting the achievements made by the Kingdom under his directives to achieve national goals consistent with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
The conference was attended by the Labor Fund “Tamkeen”, University of Bahrain (UoB), Egyptian embassy, the Bahrain Banks Association, the United Nations Industrial Development Office “UNIDO”, and BAO.
The Innovative Energy Solutions conference included a set of main themes, the most important of which are: global trends in the sustainable energy sector, innovations in green energy and their impact on entrepreneurship, and initiatives to develop the clean energy sector.
