Developed as part of the government’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives, the VAT bill payment service on the National Portal, bahrain.bh allows you to carry out necessary tasks quickly and easily.
Provided by the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR), in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), the eService allows VAT-eligible businesses to conveniently view and settle fees online. It is enabling private sector entities to carry out essential transaction in a secured and private environment.
In line with the NBR’s commitment to adopt modern technologies and systems that further streamline and secure VAT collection processes, the service aims to raise government service efficiency while maintaining the highest safety and privacy standards. It also ensures that government services meet the needs of all types of beneficiaries.
The service is available via the National Portal bahrain.bh. Once selected, users must enter their bill and VAT account numbers to view the details of the due amounts. They can then pay by entering that amount plus their contact details, and choose between debit or credit cards as a payment methods. A receipt of the completed transaction can also be sent via email or printed.
