Shamma Hamdan set to Perform Live at Coca-Cola Arena During the Inaugral World Padel League

Emirati singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Shamma Hamdan is set to perform at Dubai’s home of live entertainment, Coca-Cola Arena on 8th June. Shamma is the first Emirati woman to reach the finals of the hit reality show, Arabs Got Talent.

The songstress has taken the Middle East music industry by storm. Some of her popular songs include ‘Moajaba’, ‘Anadt Feek’ and ‘Abee Afham’. With her powerful voice and an unbeatable sense of style, she has become one of UAE’s most beloved pop stars.

Born and raised in Dubai, Shamma has been passionate about music since her childhood. She started playing piano, guitar and drums since the age of five. Her passion for singing followed at the age of nine.

Shamma’s career skyrocketed in 2012, after becoming the finalist on Arabs Got Talent. Since then, she has released several successful singles and collaborated with some of the most renowned artists in the region. She has also performed on the Middle East’s version of Coke Studio, with British singer Jay Sean.

Shamma has won numerous awards throughout her career. She was awarded ‘Best Female Singer’ at The Murex D’Or Awards in 2014 and The Emirates Film Competition in 2015. In 2017 she was awarded ‘Best Middle East Act’ at The MTV Europe Music Awards.

Shamma is an advocate for women’s rights and is actively involved in charities such as United Nations Women’s Empowerment Fund.

This concert is part of the exciting line-up for the first-ever World Padel League, to be held in partnership with Dubai Sports Council from 8th to 11th June 2023. The tournament will comprise of four teams, 24 of the world’s top-ranked padel players and four concerts featuring internationally renowned entertainers to present the ‘Greatest Show on Court’. The four-day sportainment experience will be brought to Dubai by the same team that recently hosted the successful World Tennis League.
