Aligarh Muslim University Alumni ( AMUAAB) celebrated their Founder Sir Syed Ahmed Khan’s 201st Birthday on 16th Nov 2018 at Golden Tulip Hotel. The event was attended by over 275 people and is supposed to be biggest gathering of AMU alumni in Bahrain till date
Welcoming the guests, Sharique Ahmed Gen Secretary AMUAAB stressed on imbibing the qualities of Sir Syed and called upon to make efforts so that sir syed dreams to educate and uplift the downtrodden section is fulfilled
The function was presided over by shura council member H.E. Dr Fatema Abduljabbar AlKooheji. while paying tributes suggested expanding the institution to other parts of the world mainly middle east particularly Bahrain.
While introducing the chief guest MR Anubhav Sinha, Vice President AMUAAB MR Mohd Ajmi Khan talked about Mr Sinha’s Journey from a career technocrat to becoming one of the famous BOLLYWOOD director,producer and writer.
The Chief Guest Mr Anubhav Sinha ,in his address talked at length about deteriorating human values in today’s world and called upon people to strive and work towards interpersonal relation development.He impressed upon the audience that studying in Aligarh Muslim University has been the best part and most cherished and memorable part of his life.
The gathering was also addressed by Mr Shakil Azmi chairman Ibn Al Hytham School.
Preceding the function ,drawing ,pencil sketching and general knowledge competitions for kids of various age groups were conducted by Cultural Secretary Mr Babu Khan. Treasur Mr Yunus Parvez announced the top three winners in each category who were felicitated during the event which was
